CLPS Technology Hiring! Full Time Network Engineer-Network support in Hong Kong Island, Hong Kong - Ricebowl

Key Responsibilities:
Plan, deploy, and configure network hardware and software, including routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and wireless systems for new office setups, datacentre expansions, and cloud connectivity.
Configure, manage, and monitor next-generation firewalls to enforce security policies, VPNs (site-to-site & remote access), and threat prevention.
Troubleshoot system incidents and provide user support
Develop and maintain documentation, including network diagrams, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and configuration records.
Contribute to the development and execution of network disaster recovery plans. Ensure network configurations comply with internal security policies and relevant financial industry regulations.
Participate in system-related projects, technical research, and proof-of-concept work
Proactively monitor network performance using tools (e.g., Cybercommand, PRTG, etc.), analyse traffic patterns, and implement optimizations to reduce latency and improve reliability.
Vendor management with liaise with hardware/software vendors, and service providers

Requirements:
Minimum of 1 years+ of hands-on experience as a Network Engineer, preferably within the financial services, fintech, or a similarly demanding, high-availability environment
Experience with Public Cloud services is a plus
Proven experience in configuring and managing Fortinet FortiGate, Palo Alto Networks and Checkpoint firewalls.
Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related disciplines
Strong knowledge of Cisco IOS/NX-OS, switching (VLAN, STP), and routing (BGP, OSPF)
