About the role

We are seeking a talented Quantity Surveying Intern to join our dedicated team at Country Garden Pacificview Sdn Bhd in the vibrant Forest City development in Johor. As a Quantity Surveying Intern, you will play a crucial role in supporting our construction projects and contribute to the overall success of our business.

What you'll be doing

1. Assisting with the preparation of cost estimates, bills of quantities, and tender documents for construction projects

2. Carrying out quantity take-offs and cost analyses to ensure accurate project budgeting and cost control

3. Participating in site visits and liaising with contractors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to monitor project progress and manage costs

4. Providing administrative support, including maintaining records, preparing reports, and updating project databases

5. Gaining exposure to a wide range of construction projects and learning from experienced Quantity Surveyors within the team

What we're looking for

1. Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field

2. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an eye for detail

3. Good understanding of construction methods, materials, and industry practices

4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders

5. Proficient in using construction-related software, such as CAD, estimating, and project management tools

6. Proactive, self-motivated, and eager to learn in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
