Morgan McKinley Hiring! Full Time Dev Lead (Django, AWS) in - Ricebowl

We are looking for a Dev Lead with extensive experience in Python Django, AWS, Javascript (Typescript) and strong design experience for web app using microservices design to join our projects.

Job Duties:

• Assist senior IT leadership in developing and executing IT strategies that align with organizational objectives.
• Manage IT projects, including planning, budgeting, resource allocation, and implementation.
• Oversee the performance and development of IT teams, ensuring high levels of productivity and engagement.
• Support the design, deployment, and maintenance of IT systems, infrastructure, and applications.
• Ensure the security, scalability, and compliance of IT operations with industry standards and regulations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• 9+ years of experience in IT roles, with at least 4 years in a leadership position.
• Proven ability to manage complex IT projects and cross-functional teams.
• Strong knowledge of modern development principles and best practices.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity, compliance, and IT governance best practices.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and enterprise systems
• 5+ years of experience with Web technologies & Cloud platforms (AWS)
• 2+ Years of experience with AWS specifically Serverless and ECS/EKS stack
• Strong understanding of Microservice/OOP/OOD
• Strong understanding of Test-Driven Development and Continuous Integration
• Experience with REST Web Services / Web API
• Experience with JavaScript and JavaScript frameworks (Node.js, React, Remix.JS)
• Working knowledge of Python / Django
