As our Baker, you will support the daily preparation and baking of pastries in our in-store kitchen. You will help ensure that our pastries are made fresh, presented consistently, and prepared according to company standards.

Bao’s Pastry is currently in the process of applying for halal certification, and we warmly welcome applicants of all races and religions to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation, baking, and assembly of pastries.
• Follow company recipes, baking procedures, and presentation standards.
• Ensure pastries are prepared fresh and consistently according to company standards.
• Handle ingredients, food products, and baking equipment safely and properly.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the workstation, kitchen, and equipment.
• Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
• Minimise wastage and spoilage of ingredients.
• Support the team in daily bakery production and outlet operations.

Requirements

• Passionate about baking and willing to learn.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Able to work on weekends and public holidays.
• No experience required; training will be provided.
