Job Description

Responsibilities

Chugai Pharmabody Research Pte. Ltd. (“CPR”) was established in Singapore as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Chugai Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd (Chugai), a member of Roche group, in January 2012 and started operations on July 2, 2012. Located at Biopolis in Singapore, it aims to generate new antibody drugs based on Chugai’s proprietary antibody engineering technologies, such as recycling antibody, sweeping antibody, bispecific antibody, various Fc engineered antibodies, and other new antibody engineering technologies that are under development.


Research Support Assistant/Officer in Research Support Unit


Executive Assistant to CEO and Administration Head:

  • Provide full spectrum of secretarial support to CEO and Administration Head including but not limited to calendar management, coordination of meetings, travel arrangements, preparation of presentation materials and expense claims.
  • Coordinate and liaise with internal and external parties for all meetings and conferences arranged.
  • Support in preparation of manuscripts (e.g. media interview, review, textbook).
  • Ad-hoc duties as and when required.

Administrative tasks and Office Management:

  • Preparation of invoices and documents as well as reviewing of contracts.
  • Coordinate with internal and external parties on shipping, facility maintenance, and company’s equipment matters. Support Research Support Leader on drafting and maintaining in-house policies and SOPs.
  • Prepare various reports as and when needed by the management.
  • Provide secretarial and administrative support to the various research committees.
  • Propose effective way/workflow to improve Research Support team’s operations.
  • Ad-hoc general administrative support as and when required.

Requirements:

  • General degree with minimum 1 year of secretarial experience in the life sciences industry.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications such as Word, Powerpoint, Excel, Outlook, Forms etc.
  • Related experiences in providing secretarial support to various institutional reviews
  • Experienced in reading and extracting literature reviews from medical articles.
  • Proficiency in Japanese Language is a must to liaise with Japanese speaking colleagues and clients.
