IT Support Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for a IT Support Engineer to join our IT support team. This is a great opportunity for someone starting their IT career to gain hands-on experience with workplace technology, end-user support, and IT operations.

You will work closely with experienced engineers, providing onsite support to help ensure employees can work smoothly with their devices and workplace systems.

What You’ll Do

• Provide onsite technical support for end-user devices such as desktop PCs, laptops, printers, corporate mobile devices, projectors, and other workplace equipment.
• Assist with setting up, moving, and decommissioning IT equipment across office locations (laptops, desktops, and peripherals).
• Help install, configure, and test hardware and locally connected devices under guidance or approved procedures.
• Perform basic software installations and reinstallation tasks based on service requests and instructions.
• Support troubleshooting of hardware issues, including identifying faults and assisting with component replacement or escalation when needed.
• Assist in diagnosing software and application issues, including basic configuration checks and reinstallations.
• Escalate more complex technical issues to senior engineers or specialist teams and track updates.
• Support deployment of new devices, upgrades, and workplace IT changes.
• Provide priority and VIP user support when fast onsite assistance is required.
• Assist with meeting room technology support, including projectors, video conferencing tools, and basic network connectivity checks.

What We’re Looking For

• Basic understanding of IT hardware, Windows OS, or end-user devices (training or internship experience is welcome)
• Interest in building a career in IT support or infrastructure
• Willingness to learn hands-on troubleshooting and onsite support work
• Good communication skills and a helpful, customer-focused attitude
• Ability to follow procedures and work well in a team environment
• Comfortable working in an onsite, fast-paced support environment
