1) Main Purpose
To lead and manage the successful delivery of development, technical advisory and project management assignments. The Senior / Project Manager will be responsible for leading and managing the end-to-end delivery of developments across the project lifecycle.
2) Key Responsibilities
Project Management & Delivery
- Lead projects across planning, design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover phases; liaise with all levels of stakeholders (client, consultants, authorities and end-users).
- Monitor project progress and manage project risks, programme, quality, and cost performance.
- Chair meetings with key stakeholders involved i.e. Key Personnel Meeting, Project Control Meeting, EOT meetings and other ad hoc meetings called by the Client.
- Attend as necessary the Site Progress Meeting, Technical Meetings and Design and Coordination Meetings; and to keep the meeting minutes of these meetings.
- Monitor and review the project master schedule and advise the Client on the impact of any delay events.
- Monitor project cash flow projections, ensuring payments are processed promptly and recommended to the Client for payment on time.
- Coordinate tendering activities, bid evaluations, contractor appointments, and procurement strategies.
- Manage contract administration, change requests, variations, and contractual matters.
- Drive value engineering and design optimization initiatives.
- Act as technical advisor for development, acquisition, asset enhancement, and investment-related projects.
- Lead or support technical due diligence (TDD) commissions including review of architectural, structural, MEP, compliance, sustainability, and operational considerations.
- Carry out project monitoring services, including progress tracking, risk assessment, programme review, and budget reporting.
3) Job Requirements
- Strong understanding of project management principles and project lifecycle delivery.
- Good knowledge of development, fit-out, procurement, contracts administration and construction processes.
- Familiarity with technical due diligence, project monitoring, and technical advisory services.
- Familiar with building contracts such as SIA, REDAS.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and risk management capabilities.
- Good understanding of project control, contract administration, and commercial management principles.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management platforms/software.
4) Credentials & Experience
Education & Professional Qualifications
- Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Mechanical & Electrical, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related disciplines.
- Relevant working experience in the built environment sector and proven management abilities.
- Professional certifications such as PMP, RICS, or equivalent preferred.
- Knowledge or accreditation in green building certification (e.g., Green Mark Accredited Professional (GMAP)) is advantageous.
- Minimum 8–15+ years of relevant experience with demonstrated capability in leading complex projects and multidisciplinary teams.
- Proven experience in managing technical due diligence and/or project monitoring.
