About the Client

Our client is a well-established precision manufacturing organization serving global customers across highly regulated and high-specification industries. The company is seeking an experienced operations leader to oversee end-to-end manufacturing operations and drive operational excellence across the site.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide overall leadership and direction for manufacturing operations, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer expectations.
  • Take ownership of site performance, including operational efficiency, profitability, cost management, and annual budgeting processes.
  • Develop and execute operational strategies to improve productivity, quality, delivery performance, and resource utilization.
  • Lead cross-functional teams across Production, Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Maintenance to achieve operational targets.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives through Lean Manufacturing, process optimization, and waste reduction programs.
  • Monitor operational KPIs, identify performance gaps, and implement corrective actions to enhance overall business performance.
  • Oversee production planning, capacity management, and resource allocation to support business growth and customer demand.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and quality management requirements.
  • Foster a high-performance culture through coaching, talent development, and leadership of multidisciplinary teams.


Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience in a senior manufacturing or operations leadership role within a precision manufacturing environment.
  • Strong background in CNC machining, advanced manufacturing processes, or related industrial operations.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead large cross-functional teams and drive operational excellence initiatives.
  • Solid understanding of budgeting, cost management, productivity improvement, and performance management.
  • Hands-on experience implementing Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, and operational transformation programs.
  • Familiarity with quality management systems such as AS9100 Rev D and ISO 9001 would be advantageous.
  • Strong leadership, stakeholder management, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
