Key Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, and manage Microsoft Exchange Server (2016/2019) and/or Exchange Online (M365) environments
- Administer mailboxes, distribution lists, shared mailboxes, and resource mailboxes
- Configure and maintain hybrid Exchange environments
- Manage email routing, mail flow rules, connectors, and transport policies
- Monitor system health and performance; troubleshoot and resolve issues
- Implement and maintain email security solutions (e.g., anti-spam, anti-malware, Defender for Office 365)
- Perform backup, restore, and disaster recovery planning
- Handle patching, upgrades, and migrations (e.g., legacy systems to Exchange Online)
- Manage PowerShell scripting for automation and administration
- Ensure compliance with data retention, eDiscovery, and legal hold requirements
- Collaborate with infrastructure, network, and security teams
- Provide Level 2/3 support and participate in incident/problem management
- Maintain documentation and standard operating procedures
Cloud Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, and manage Windows Server environments (2016/2019/2022)
- Administer Active Directory, Group Policy (GPO), DNS, DHCP
- Manage and support cloud platforms (Microsoft Azure / AWS)
- Implement and maintain hybrid cloud infrastructure (on-prem + cloud)
- Provision and manage virtual machines (VMs), storage, and networking
- Perform patching, upgrades, and system hardening"
Must have Talent / Skills :
- Exchange Administration skills, AWS or Azure Cloud Skill
Certifications: (added advantage)
- MS‑203 – Microsoft 365 Messaging
- Exchange Server 2016/2019 (MCSE, MCSA)
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ‑104)
- Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect (AZ‑305) (optional)
