Position: Finance Manager
Salary: RM3,500 – RM4,000
Working Days: Monday – Friday (Saturday: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM)
Working Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Location: 23, Jalan Perniagaan Bakri 2, Kampung Parit Keroma, 84000 Muar, Johor

Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and strategic Finance Manager to oversee the company’s financial operations, reporting, and budgeting activities.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing daily accounting functions, monitoring cash flow, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations and statutory requirements. You will also work closely with management to provide financial insights and recommendations that support business growth and operational efficiency.

This position is ideal for individuals who are analytical, organized, and experienced in financial management and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

1. Prepare, monitor, and analyze financial statements, budgets, and financial forecasts
2. Provide strategic financial advice and recommendations to management for business decision-making
3. Identify financial risks and propose suitable mitigation strategies
4. Monitor company cash flow and ensure efficient working capital management
5. Oversee daily accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll
6. Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with accounting standards
7. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management and regulatory authorities
8. Ensure compliance with statutory requirements including tax filings, SOCSO, and EPF contributions
9. Develop and manage company budgets and implement cost control measures
10. Analyze variances between actual and budgeted financial performance and recommend corrective actions
11. Review departmental expenses and improve financial efficiency across operations
12. Lead, supervise, and mentor finance team members to ensure strong performance and accountability
13. Coordinate with auditors, banks, and regulatory authorities when required
14. Collaborate with management, department heads, and external stakeholders to support financial strategies and planning

Requirements

1. Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
2. Experience in finance, accounting, or financial management roles is an advantage
3. Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, and accounting principles
4. Knowledge of statutory compliance including tax, EPF, and SOCSO regulations
5. Able to work independently and manage multiple financial tasks effectively
