Responsibilities
- Assist in day-to-day finance operations and data entry into the SQL Accounting System
- Support in handling accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR)
- Track customer payments and assist in matching with issued invoices
- Assist in preparing commission reports and monthly closing activities
- Help with bank reconciliation and financial report updates
- Maintain proper filing of finance and admin documents
- Verify supporting documents such as petty cash, staff claims, and payments
- Attend to walk-in customers and visitors at the reception area
- Answer incoming calls, handle general enquiries, and direct calls to the relevant departments
- Ensure the reception area is well-maintained and presentable at all times
- Support the Finance Executive and team in any other finance/admin tasks
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of working experience in accounting or finance
- Diploma or Degree in Accounting / Finance or related field
- Able to work independently with proper guidance
- Detail-oriented, organized, and responsible
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel; knowledge in SQL Accounting is a bonus
- Good communication skills (verbal & written)
- Pleasant personality and comfortable interacting with customers and visitors
