Project:

Upgrading the Railway Infrastructure and System at Klang Valley Double Track Phase 2. (KVDT 2).

Reports To:

HOD/Manager

Liaises with

All staff, Consultants, Sub-Contractors, and others (as required / approved by Head of Department or KVDT 2 Management).

Job Purpose:

To assist in the design, documentation, and coordination of railway and station development projects, ensuring compliance with railway standards, regulatory requirements, safety principles, and project delivery objectives while supporting multidisciplinary project teams.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

• Prepare and submit project - related paperwork including method statements, material requests, material transfers, and Request for Orders (RO), ensuring timely approval from relavant parties.
• Assist the team in preparing material submissions.
• Support senior engineers by monitoring construction progress, conducting site inspections, and ensuring work aligns with approved plans and specifications.
• Maintain organized project documentation and contribute to regular progress reports and updates.
• Assist in drafting drawings using AutoCAD and design presentations or documents using Adobe software.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and internal departments to collect, update, and manage necessary documentation.
• Assist the project manager and engineering team in daily site operations and technical coordination.
• Support the senior team in open Request for Information from (RFI).
• Identify potential design or site issues and promptly communicate and support their resolution.
• Review architectural drawings and highlight discrepancies or issues, ensuring they are reported and addressed appropriately.

Requirement:

• Must possess at least a Bachelor's degree in Architecture.
• At least 1-2 years working experience in railway construction or building services.
• Initiative, proactive, good management skill and able to work independently with less supervision.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop.
• Able to prepare submission documents relevant to works scope.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
