Job Summary The Registered Nurse is responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to patients with mental health conditions and individuals undergoing psychiatric rehabilitation. The role involves assessing patients, administering medications, monitoring mental and physical health, supporting therapeutic interventions, and promoting recovery and rehabilitation in a safe and supportive environment.
Job Responsibilities:
Provide nursing care and monitor patients' physical and mental well-being.
Administer medications and observe for any side effects or changes in condition.
Assist patients with daily living activities and encourage independence.
Support patients in rehabilitation, recovery, and therapeutic activities.
Maintain accurate nursing records and documentation.
Ensure a safe and supportive environment for patients.
Work closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, counsellors, and other healthcare professionals.
Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding care and treatment plans.
