Project Description:
Our Client a leading bank in Asia with a global network of more than 500 branches and offices in 19 countries and territories in Asia Pacific, Europe, and North America, are looking for Consultants to be part of the project.
The Technology and Operations function is comprised of five teams of specialists with distinct capabilities: business partnership, technology, operations, risk governance, and planning support and services. They work closely together to harness the power of technology to support our physical and digital banking services and operations. This includes developing, centralising, and standardising technology systems as well as banking operations in Malaysia and overseas branches.
The client has more than 80 years of history in the banking industry and is expanding its footprint in Malaysia.
You will be working in a newly set-up technology centre located in Kuala Lumpur as part of Technology and Operations to deliver innovative financial technology solutions that enable business growth and technology transformation.
Responsibilities:
1. Production & Application Support
• Provide L3 production support for Investment & Wealth applications.
• Monitor application health and ensure production stability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application and database-related issues.
2. Incident & Problem Management
• Perform root cause analysis for production incidents and application defects.
• Coordinate with L1/L2 support teams for issue resolution.
• Ensure timely closure of incidents and problem tickets.
3. Application Enhancement & Bug Fixing
• Support minor enhancements and bug fixes in existing applications.
• Analyse impact for change requests and production fixes.
• Participate in deployment validation and post-release support.
4. Database Support
• Work with:
- Microsoft SQL Server
• Analyse SQL queries and support data validation activities.
• Troubleshoot database-related application issues.
5. Stakeholder Coordination
• Coordinate with business users, development teams, infrastructure teams, and vendors.
• Provide timely communication and status updates for production issues.
6. Documentation & Support Governance
• Maintain support documentation and incident records.
• Ensure adherence to support processes and operational standards.
Mandatory Skills Description:
• 6-9 years of experience in application production support / L3 support
• Strong experience in:
- .NET
- SQL
• Experience working with:
- Microsoft SQL Server
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Experience supporting enterprise banking or Investment & Wealth applications
• Experience working in:
- Windows
- Open Systems environments
• Strong problem-solving capability
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work independently in support environments
• Incident and priority management capability
Nice-to-Have Skills Description:
• Wealth Management domain experience
