Job Purpose:

• To hold up the stable operation of the Core Services Applications
• To handle and solve Requests, Incidents, Changes and Problems

Key Activities:

• Provide 2nd/3rd level support for Core Services Applications (which are: IPAM, F5-Loadbalancing, Cisco ISE, RSA 2fA, DHCP, DNS internal & external, NTP, Splunk)
• Handle Requests, Incidents, Changes and Problems in production network environment
• Support various projects related to the Core Services Applications
• Communicate with different internal departments as well as external companies and vendors
• Participate in on-call support for those products (this includes nights, weekends and public holiday)
• Working arrangement during EMEA hours, 3PM - 12AM Malaysia time.

Essential Skills:

• IPv4 networking (routing, network-layers etc.)
• IP related protocols (IP, TCP, UDP, ICMP etc.)
• Linux (experienced in using the commandline)
• DNS-Protocol
• DHCP-Protocol
• Radius-Protocol
• Tacacs-Protocol
• NTP-Protocol
• Analysing and understanding of network traces
• Network management technologies like SNMP and syslog
• SQL
• Experience with the following products:

- F5-Loadbalancer & BigIQ

- Infoblox

- Cisco ISE

- Bind

- Mariadb

- Apache

- RSA (2fA)

- Splunk

- Cisco ISE

Other knowledge (optional)

• Cloudexperience (Azure and GCP)
• Perl
• Python
• HTML
• Bash-scripting

Personal Skills:

• Good communication in English is a MUST
• High level of responsibility, team ability and initiative
• Strong analytical ones, as well as the pleasure of solving complex questions and getting to know new topics
• As many customers are speaking German and some documentation is in German, it would be good advantage if the people would be able to speak in German
