Job purpose:
In the Cluster Supply Organization, the incumbent will perform their functions by facilitating a rapid and flexible response to changing conditions and customer needs through an iterative approach and the continual development of new solutions particularly in the ever-changing requirements.
Incumbents know ledge and experience are needed to demonstrate flexibility with regard to assignments to various cells and chapters, even across cluster boundaries.
Key activities:
- Technical product documentation (CORIA, interface descriptions, other relevant documents)
- Working in a cross-functional team (including external vendor) so that all tasks required to deliver the relevant products, services, processes and systems can be completed
- Preparing logs/minutes and researching required background information (figures, data and facts)
- Product portfolio support for one or more products, services, processes and/or systems within the cluster in accordance with quality standards
- Proper preparation of simple test cases, bearing in mind quality standards and deadlines
- Defining the test data for own simple test cases (ordering test data)
- Documenting test results; handling of subsequent reporting within the framework of defect management
- Operation, support and maintenance of infrastructure, including support for relevant systems, data updates, reporting and user authorisation management within the cell
- Involvement in planning, design and implementation of release activities
- Defect management (tracking, analysis and reporting)
- Active tracking of given sub-processes, considering regulatory requirements and process control parameters
- Contributes to the implementation of defined digital strategies and innovative technologies within the cluster
- Complying with security standards
- Acquisition, ongoing development and transfer of operational/process-related/IT know ledge on assigned issues
- Ensuring that internal and external standards are met, regarding regulatory issues, reporting, compliance and auditing in the context of assigned issues and applying best practices
- Standard Service Delivery duties for Incident, Change and Problem Management
- Flexible approach to working hours (e.g. weekends or on-call, inter-regional meetings, DR tests, releases etc)
Specialist knowledge:
- Deeper and/or more versatile proficiency:
- Strong process management skills
- In-depth knowledge of the IT applications used in the area of responsibility.
- Strong coordination and teamwork skills
- Assertive self-starter with strong verbal communication skills
- Solid know ledge and skills in the areas of test design and implementation.
Basic Skills:
- Ability to explain complex issues clearly.
- Articulate and clear communicator
- Excellent English skills, and Mandarin is a must
- General knowledge of technology. Banking knowledge is added advantage
- Knowledge of data protection regulations when dealing with IT in own area of responsibility within the Bank
- Strong abstract thinking ability; conceptual and analytical mind-set
Technical Skills Required:
- Interface and messaging knowledge (e.g.: MQ Services)
- Good knowledge of the Microsoft Windows Server System (OS - W2k8 and higher) and Linux Software Architecture, System Services and Application Pools. High ability to analyse Windows event logs and general administrative tools. Having RHEL is added advantage
- Active Directory knowledge, including authorization and access rights in relation to files and folder structure inheritance
- Software deployment, packaging knowledge (analysis, creation and maintenance)
- Knowledge in PowerShell scripting, Unix.
- MS SQL and Oracle Database knowledge and experience, (e.g.: Database-Objects, -functions and views)
- Knowledge and experience to write and run SQL and SQL statement
