Job Description

Responsibilities

Job Purpose:

  • The Operation and Monitoring Corporate Trainee will provide day-to-day support to team members, especially on daily operations and documentation. This includes understanding the monitoring process, gatekeeper of know how documents, supporting team to open/update/close any incidents, learn on creating a task in ServiceNow and basic troubleshooting of the incidents. Responsible for assisting Team Head with tracking documents eg KPI on a monthly basis and documenting it in SharePoint.
  • The Operation and Monitoring Corporate Trainee must be team oriented / organize their own activities, working autonomously and with full accountability.


Key activities:


Client Server Corporate Trainee Support

  • Assist with Troubleshooting: Help troubleshoot client server issues and provide quick solutions. (Must proactively learn and work on the issue)
  • Collaboration with IT Teams: Work with other IT teams to ensure smooth integration of applications and solutions.
  • Training and Development: Keep learning and using new technologies and methods relevant to the role. (This is part of our daily training)
  • Coordinate the weekend activity meeting and prepare documentation for it.
  • Adherent to company policies and procedures related to client-server operations, security and data privacy.


Additional Tasks:

  • Participate in other projects/tasks as assigned by senior or Team Head.


Formal Education:

  • Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Information Technology/Computer Science.


Specialist knowledge (work experience, further qualification):

  • Preferably Entry Level specialized in Information Technology or equivalent.
  • No work experience required.
  • Minimum CGPA is 3.0 pointer.
  • Strong team player with strong interpersonal and communicative skills.
  • Required language(s): Fluent verbal and written in English required.
  • Required Skill(s): MS Office.


Additional :

  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 products.
  • Basic Linux commands to check the status of the servers (ping, df -k, etc)
  • Basic understanding of Monitoring tools eg Dynatrace, Tivoli, UC4, Jane, IT Dashboard.
  • Knowledge of basic incident management process within the Bank
  • NOTE: Successful candidates will be employed on a 6-months contract directly under Commerz Global Service Solutions Sdn Bhd. Upon completion of the Corporate Trainee Program, permanent employment will be offered based on the overall performance evaluation throughout the 6 months program.
