Responsibilities
Job Purpose
The role of a CSSD Heath Attendant is
to collect the soiled CSSD instruments from users in wards / clinics / departments, clean linen packs from Linen store and send them to TSSUs for sterilizing.
to collect and check the sterilized CSSD items in accordance to sterilizing guidelines.
to pack the sterilized CSSD items according to the packing list and distribute them to the users.
to do the stock count and tally at the end of the day.
Duties and Responsibilities
To collect soiled CSSD instruments from users and clean linen packs from linen store. Send them to TSSUs for sterilization.
To collect the CSSD items from TSSUs once sterilized. Ensure the sterilized CSSD items are checked based on the sterilizing guidelines.
To pack the CSSD items according to the packing list.
To distribute the CSSD items to users.
To do the stock count at the end of each work day
To clean and ensure work place tidiness at the end of each work day.
To conduct CSSD instrument stock take
To do cleaning and polishing of trolleys
To wash tote boxes
To perform any other duties assigned by supervisor.
Job Specification/Requirements
Able to commit work shift 1pm-9pm
Ability to read, write , speak basic English and to count
Experience
Not necessary as training will be provided.
Those with relevant experience will be an advantage
Skills
Physically fit and able to push / pull heavy trolleys, carry boxes
