Position: HoReCa Sales & Business Development Executive
Location: Cyberjaya
Work Arrangement: Fully On-Site (must be able to commute)
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
- Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities within the HoReCa (Hotels, Restaurants, Cafés, Catering) sector to drive revenue growth.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers, including hotels, restaurants, cafés, bakeries, caterers, and other food service businesses.
- Conduct market research to identify industry trends, customer needs, and emerging business opportunities.
- Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies aligned with company objectives.
- Promote products and services through both online and offline channels to increase brand awareness and market penetration.
- Manage B2B communications, including customer inquiries, product presentations, quotations, proposals, negotiations, and follow-ups.
- Provide excellent customer support while adapting to changing market conditions and customer requirements.
Operations & Service Management
- Ensure consistent product quality and service standards are maintained across all customer accounts.
- Monitor compliance with food safety, hygiene, and operational standards.
- Coordinate inventory planning, stock ordering, and supply management to ensure product availability while controlling costs.
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and implement cost-saving initiatives where appropriate.
Reporting & Performance Analysis
- Prepare and present regular sales, customer, and operational performance reports.
- Monitor sales trends, customer feedback, competitor activities, and market developments.
- Analyze business performance data and provide recommendations to support management decision-making and business growth.
- Track sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure objectives are achieved.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum SPM qualification or equivalent.
- Previous experience in HoReCa sales, food service distribution, bakery ingredients, or the F&B industry is an added advantage.
- Strong understanding of sales processes, business development, account management, and customer service principles.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and capable of working independently as well as within a team.
- Possess own transportation and be willing to travel for customer visits, meetings, and business development activities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic reporting tools.
