We're Hiring: System Engineer (Level 1)!
We are looking for a motivated and skilled System Engineer (Level 1) to join our dynamic team in Singapore. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in system engineering principles and experience in supporting IT infrastructure, ensuring smooth operations, and providing technical support.

Role: System Engineer (Level 1)
Monitor and maintain servers, operating systems, and infrastructure components.
Perform routine health checks to ensure system availability and performance.
Respond to incidents, troubleshoot issues, and restore services within agreed SLAs.
Support production, test, and development environments as required.
Install, configure, and upgrade hardware, operating systems, middleware, and supporting software.
Apply patches, fixes, and security updates following approved change management processes.
Maintain system configurations in accordance with operational standards.
Investigate system alerts, incidents, and recurring technical issues.
Perform root cause analysis for major or recurring failures.
Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and application owners to resolve technical issues.
Document resolutions and contribute to the knowledge base.
Support infrastructure changes, deployments, and release activities.
Assess implementation requirements and technical impacts of planned changes.
Participate in maintenance activities, including rollback and recovery planning.
Monitor system performance, utilization, and availability metrics.
Recommend improvements to enhance system reliability, efficiency, and capacity.
Support performance tuning and resource planning activities.
Implement and support security controls for managed systems.
Ensure compliance with internal security policies, standards, and audit requirements.
Support vulnerability remediation and access management activities.
Maintain technical documentation, standard operating procedures, and configuration records.
Prepare operational reports, incident summaries, and service status updates.
Ensure accurate handover documentation for operational continuity.
Work closely with project teams, application owners, service delivery teams, and clients.
Provide technical support during project implementation and transition activities.
Escalate risks, issues, and dependencies appropriately.
Identify opportunities to automate routine operational tasks.
Recommend improvements to monitoring, support processes, and system stability.
Participate in service reviews and operational improvement initiatives.
Experience supporting Windows and/or Linux server environments.
Good understanding of system administration, infrastructure support, and operational processes.
Knowledge of incident, problem, and change management practices.
Experience with system monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
Understanding of security patching, vulnerability remediation, and access management.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
