Facility Maintenance Technician

Location: Kuala Lumpur / Selangor

Job Summary

We are looking for a reliable and hands-on Facility Maintenance Technician to support the maintenance and repair needs of our restaurant outlets. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all equipment, electrical systems, lighting, plumbing, and facilities are functioning properly to provide a safe and efficient operating environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections of restaurant outlets and facilities.
• Repair and replace faulty lighting, switches, sockets, and electrical equipment.
• Carry out basic plumbing repairs, including taps, sinks, and drainage systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair kitchen and restaurant equipment when required.
• Conduct preventive maintenance to minimize equipment breakdowns.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency repairs.
• Coordinate with external contractors and service providers when necessary.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities, repairs, and spare parts inventory.
• Ensure all maintenance work complies with safety regulations and company standards.
• Assist with outlet setup, renovation, and improvement projects.

Requirements

• Minimum SPM or equivalent qualification.
• At least 2 years of experience in facility maintenance, electrical work, or related fields.
• Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and general building maintenance.
• Ability to use hand tools and maintenance equipment safely.
• Possess troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Able to travel between company outlets.
• Possess own motorcycle or vehicle (preferred).
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Willing to work overtime or on weekends when required.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in restaurant, retail, or F&B maintenance.
• Basic knowledge of air-conditioning systems.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance planning.
• Electrical certification is an added advantage.
