Open to Fresh Graduates / Mandarin speaker preferred

We are seeking a dedicated and detail‑oriented Sourcing (Quote) Executive to join our Southeast Asia team. This role is open to fresh graduates with Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronics background, as well as candidates with relevant experience who are passionate about sourcing, cost analysis, and supplier coordination.

The role will support end‑to‑end RFQ execution, supplier communication, quotation analysis, and cost comparison across Asia, while collaborating with U.S. counterparts in sourcing and cost evaluation activities.

Key Responsibilities

RFQ & Quotation Management

Support preparation, issuance, and tracking of RFQs based on engineering drawings, technical specifications, and BOMs

Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely quotation submission aligned with project deadlines

Maintain clear and structured communication with suppliers to clarify technical and commercial requirements

Quotation & Cost Analysis

Consolidate and analyze supplier quotations under guidance (for junior/fresh hires)

Prepare cost comparison sheets including pricing, tooling, MOQ, lead time, and terms

Assist in identifying cost gaps, variances, and potential sourcing risks

Supplier Coordination & Support

Support sourcing engineers in supplier evaluation and RFQ processes

Assist in managing RFQs for alternate sourcing and dual‑vendor strategy

Monitor supplier responsiveness and follow up on delays

Cross‑Functional Collaboration

Work closely with engineering, quality, and production teams to ensure RFQ clarity

Support cost reduction and sourcing initiatives through data analysis

Job Requirements

Education

Degree in either:

Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics Engineering

Supply Chain or related fields

Exposure to:

Supplier communication or internship in sourcing/procurement

Engineering projects involving components or BOM

Familiarity with Asian supplier markets is an advantage

Strong learning attitude, proactive mindset, and accountability

Immediate availability is a plus

Experience

Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply

Candidates with 1–5 years experience in supplier management, sourcing, negotiation, or cost analysis will have an added advantage

Technical Skills & Knowledge

Basic ability to read and interpret engineering drawings (training can be provided)

Strong analytical and numerical skills

Proficient in Microsoft Excel (basic to intermediate; training provided for fresh grads)

High attention to detail and good documentation discipline

Additional Requirements

Ability to speak and write Mandarin (to communicate with suppliers)

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Willingness to learn and work in a fast‑paced environment

Able to manage multiple tasks and follow through on deadlines

Willing to travel to suppliers when required
