About the Role

We are seeking a Software System Engineer with strong experience in system engineering, OS integration, and platform bring-up. The ideal candidate will work closely with internal and external engineering teams to drive system-level integration, troubleshoot complex platform issues, and optimize build and validation workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with external engineering partners to clarify requirements and resolve integration challenges
• Lead system-level OS integration across multiple platforms
• Analyze system behavior using logs, traces, and performance data to diagnose stability and responsiveness issues
• Manage issue tracking, escalations, and stakeholder communication
• Contribute to continuous improvement and mentor team members when required
• Develop automation scripts to streamline builds, diagnostics, and repetitive workflows
• Assess the impact of emerging technologies, including AI-driven system enhancements

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience
• 3+ years of experience in system engineering, OS integration, platform bring-up, or related fields
• Strong understanding of operating system fundamentals (Windows-based platforms preferred)
• Experience with firmware, drivers, platform configuration, or low-level system interactions
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills

Preferred Skills

• Experience working with ODM partners, silicon vendors, or external engineering teams
• Familiarity with debugging workflows and issue tracking systems
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and structured risk evaluation
• Exposure to configuration management tools, device management systems, or BI dashboards (e.g., Power BI)
• Understanding of AI-enhanced system features or automation-driven workflows
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell or Python
