PHP + Laravel + (Go or Python+ Front end (1-Year Contract)

Location: Singapore

Contract Duration: 12 Months (Highly Extendable / Long-Term Opportunity)

About the Role

We are seeking a hands-on, highly skilled Full-Stack Software Engineer who is passionate about building scalable, high-performance applications. This role offers the opportunity to work across backend engineering, modern UI development, automation platforms, and cloud-native environments.

Despite being a contract role, this position offers strong long-term potential, exposure to enterprise-scale systems, and the chance to contribute to high-impact, business-critical initiatives within a dynamic and innovative team.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust full-stack applications using Go, Python, and PHP (Laravel preferred)
• Build scalable APIs and backend services supporting critical platforms
• Develop responsive, modern user interfaces using React or Vue.js
• Architect and optimize databases across SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle
• Implement automation workflows using tools such as Ansible, Jenkins, or similar orchestration platforms
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines (Git, GitLab CI, NPM, Composer, Vite)
• Write automation and integration scripts using Python, PowerShell, or Bash
• Support and enhance infrastructure across Linux/Windows, IIS, Nginx, Docker, Kubernetes
• Ensure best practices in security, scalability, and performance
• Continuously explore and adopt emerging technologies

Qualifications

• 5–12 years of experience in full-stack development

Required Skills

• Strong expertise in Go and Python, with exposure to PHP/Laravel (preferred)
• Solid foundation in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frontend frameworks
• Experience with Vue.js or React, plus styling frameworks like SASS or TailwindCSS
• Strong database knowledge (data modeling, performance tuning, SQL optimization)
• Experience with automation/orchestration tools (e.g., Ansible, Jenkins, UiPath)
• Proficiency in Git-based workflows and CI/CD pipelines
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, IP, SSL)
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, agile environment

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to enterprise automation platforms (e.g., OpenText Operations Orchestration)
• Strong DevOps mindset with a passion for automation
• Experience working on large-scale or mission-critical systems
