Job Description

Responsibilities

Position: Operations Assistant

Job Responsibilities:

1. Administrative Support & Data Management

  • Prepare and maintain operational documents, reports, and records.
  • Organise files and data.
  • Maintain databases and ensure information accuracy.

2. Coordination & Communication

  • Coordinate between different departments (operations, merchandising, shipping).
  • Follow up with teams on pending tasks.
  • Handling and responding to buyer queries and email communications.

3. Price Inquiry, Order & Process Monitoring

  • Send price inquiries and order sheets to the team, and maintain records of inquiry data and pricing.
  • Assist in tracking orders, production progress, and delivery schedules.
  • Coordinate with the merchandising team and update tracking sheets (production status, shipment status, order status, etc.).

4. Coordinate with the Design and Development teams on style development and sample preparation

  • Coordinate with the design and development teams for proposals to buyers.
  • Assist in mood board preparation and style development.
  • Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint and Adobe Illustrator for creating professional presentations and visual designs.

5. Compliance & Documentation

  • Maintain audit documents, compliance files, and certifications.
  • Assist with factory audit documentation or operational compliance tracking.

6. Problem Solving Support

  • Help identify operational issues and report them to the Operations Manager.
  • Follow up on corrective actions and improvements.

Requirements:

  • This junior role is open to Singaporean/PR.
  • Merchandising experience and technical knowledge in the garment industry would be an advantage.
  • Proactive problem-solving.
  • Detail-oriented and with strong analytical skill.
  • Excellent computing skills, proficient in MS Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint and Adobe Illustrator.
  • Multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Positive work attitude and able to work under pressure.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong presentation and report-writing skills.
  • Bilingual, Mandarin and English-speaking.
  • Keen sense of fashion and a passion for the garment industry.
  • Available to travel to Bangladesh when required, as our sourcing company and garment factories are based there.
  • Training will be provided.
  • Degree or diploma, preferably in the fields of garments or textile.
