Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Human Resources Director at Equatorial Penang, located in Penang, Malaysia. The HR Director will oversee the development and implementation of HR policies, manage employee relations, and ensure compliance with labor and employment laws. Key responsibilities include leading performance management initiatives, fostering an engaging and positive work environment, addressing employee concerns, and partnering with leadership to drive organizational goals.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Human Resources management, including workforce planning, recruitment, and talent development
• Strong knowledge of HR Policies and ability to ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory standards
• Experience with Employee Relations, including conflict resolution and employee engagement strategies
• Ability to implement and oversee Performance Management processes to enhance workforce effectiveness
• Thorough understanding of Labor and Employment Law to ensure compliance and risk mitigation
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Proven experience in a senior HR leadership role, preferably in the hospitality industry
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; additional certifications such as SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP are a plus
