Position Overview
The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing all warehouse, inventory, material handling, and logistics operations to ensure efficient storage, inventory accuracy, and timely material flow to support manufacturing and customer delivery requirements.
The role is accountable for maintaining inventory integrity, optimizing warehouse operations, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and leading continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Warehouse Operations Management
- Manage and oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, issuance, picking, packing, and dispatch activities.
- Ensure efficient material flow to support production schedules and customer delivery requirements.
- Establish and maintain warehouse procedures, controls, and best practices.
- Optimize warehouse space utilization and storage systems.
Inventory Management
- Ensure inventory accuracy through effective inventory control and cycle count programs.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with Procurement, Production Planning, and Production departments to avoid shortages or overstock situations.
- Conduct periodic stock audits and inventory reconciliation.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of raw materials, work-in-progress (WIP), finished goods, and consumables.
Logistics & Distribution
- Coordinate shipment planning and delivery schedules to customers.
- Manage transportation providers and logistics service vendors.
- Monitor on-time delivery performance and logistics costs.
- Ensure compliance with customer requirements and shipping documentation.
Manufacturing Support
- Work closely with Production, Planning, Procurement, and Quality departments to ensure timely availability of materials.
- Support production continuity by ensuring accurate and timely issuance of materials.
- Monitor inventory transactions and maintain accurate records within ERP/MRP systems.
Safety, Compliance & Quality
- Ensure warehouse operations comply with company policies, OSHA requirements, and safety regulations.
- Maintain proper housekeeping and 5S standards within warehouse areas.
- Ensure compliance with ISO requirements, customer standards, and inventory control procedures.
- Investigate inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, supervise, and develop warehouse personnel and supervisors.
- Allocate manpower resources effectively to meet operational demands.
- Conduct performance evaluations, coaching, and training programs.
- Promote teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement culture.
Continuous Improvement & Reporting
- Identify and implement warehouse process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Monitor warehouse KPIs and prepare management reports.
- Support digitalization and automation initiatives within warehouse operations.
- Drive cost-saving and productivity improvement projects.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Warehouse Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 5–8 years of warehouse management experience in manufacturing industry.
- Experience in automotive, electronics, wire harness, or industrial manufacturing is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of inventory control, warehouse operations, and logistics management.
- Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and inventory management software.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety practices and OSHA requirements.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and warehouse reporting.

Contract length: 12 months
Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
