Role Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled Cybersecurity Pre-Sales Engineer to act as a strategic bridge between sales and technical client environments. The role involves designing secure solutions, supporting enterprise deals, and engaging with banking and government clients on advanced security architectures.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Market Development
Analyze industry regulations (e.g., BNM RMiT) and emerging cybersecurity threats
Identify new business use cases aligned with cryptography, key management, and data protection
Solution Design & Architecture
Design secure architectures using technologies such as:
Thales Group (HSM, encryption)
CyberArk (Privileged Access Management)
Versasec
Align solutions with client infrastructure and compliance requirements
Technical Sales Support
Deliver product presentations and technical demonstrations
Lead Proof-of-Concept (PoC) engagements
Support complex RFI/RFP submissions
Client Engagement
Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders in Financial Services and Government sectors
Translate complex technical concepts into business value
Required Skills & Experience
Experience
5–6+ years in Cybersecurity Pre-Sales / Solution Engineering
Core Technical Expertise
Hardware Security Modules (HSM)
Public Key Infrastructure (PKI)
Privileged Access Management (PAM)
Data encryption & key management
Compliance Knowledge
Strong understanding of Malaysian regulatory frameworks (e.g., BNM RMiT)
Experience with banking or government sector projects
Certifications (Preferred)
CISSP / CISM
Cloud certifications (AWS / Azure / GCP)
Key Competencies
Strong solution architecture and design skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder management
Ability to handle high-value enterprise deals
Commercial mindset with ability to support deal closure
