We are looking for a hands-on and detail-oriented Electronics / Mechatronics Technician to join our Client's technical operations team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical and electronic troubleshooting skills, with experience in equipment teardown, re-assembly, testing, and certification works.
Key Responsibilities
Perform teardown, inspection, repair, and re-assembly of electronic and electromechanical equipment
Conduct re-certification, calibration support, qualification, and functional testing of units according to operational and quality standards
Carry out soldering, wiring, and component replacement works with high precision and workmanship standards
Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment faults, including PCB and component-level issues where applicable
Interpret technical drawings, schematics, assembly instructions, and engineering documentation
Perform preventive maintenance and support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability
Adhere to workplace safety regulations, quality procedures, and operational guidelines at all times
Support ad-hoc technical duties and operational requirements assigned by supervisors
Job Requirements
ITE / Diploma in Electronics, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or related technical disciplines
Minimum 3 years of relevant hands-on experience in electronics, equipment servicing, or technical repair environment
Proficient in soldering and handling of electronic components and assemblies
Strong mechanical aptitude with good troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
Experience in PCB troubleshooting down to component level will be an added advantage
Possess good attention to detail, strong workmanship quality, and ability to work independent
