Job Description

China Construction Decoration Group (Singapore) Pte Ltd is seeking a committed and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to support our growing project team in Singapore.

The successful candidate will be responsible for cost estimation, contract administration, procurement coordination, and overall cost control for construction and interior fit-out projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare tender documents, bills of quantities, and cost estimates.
• Conduct quantity take-offs based on drawings and specifications.
• Source, evaluate, and compare quotations from subcontractors and suppliers.
• Prepare project budgets and monitor project costs throughout the project lifecycle.
• Handle subcontract administration, progress claims, variation orders, and final accounts.
• Prepare monthly cost reports and project financial updates.
• Review and evaluate subcontractor claims and payment certifications.
• Assist in procurement and material purchasing activities.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal project teams on commercial matters.
• Ensure contractual compliance and proper project documentation.
• Support tender submissions and contract negotiations.
• Attend project and site meetings when required.
  
  

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in construction, interior fit-out, or façade projects.
• Familiar with Singapore construction industry practices and contract administration.
• Experience in tendering, budgeting, variation claims, and final accounts.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, costing, and procurement processes.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and AutoCAD.
• Good analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
  
  

Preferred Skills

• Experience in interior decoration or commercial fit-out projects.
• Familiarity with SIA, PSSCOC, or FIDIC contracts.
• Knowledge of Singapore market pricing and subcontractor networks.
