Role: Customer Solution Manager / Solution Architect.
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Customer Solutions Manager / Solution Architect to support business growth within the Utility and Smart Grid domain. The role involves working closely with Sales, Engineering, and customers to design technical solutions, deliver presentations and demos, support proposals, and drive customer engagement across the APAC region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand customer business and technical requirements
- Deliver technical presentations, demos, and workshops
- Work closely with Sales and Project Delivery teams
- Design and propose customer-specific Smart Grid solutions
- Support RFP/RFQ/RFI responses and technical proposal creation
- Act as a technical advisor for customers and partners
- Support product evaluations and solution deployments
- Collaborate with Product Management and Engineering teams
Required Skills & Experience:
- 8+ years of experience in Technical Pre-Sales, Solution Architecture, Networking, Telecom, or Utility industry
- Strong understanding of RF/Wireless communication technologies
- 3+ years of experience in the utility industry and/or Smart Grid and AMI/Smart Metering is a plus.
- Experience with routers, switches, firewalls, IP networking, and cloud/on-prem infrastructure
- Hands-on knowledge of Linux environments, SQL databases, and basic scripting (Python/Perl)
- Experience in Smart Grid, AMI/Smart Metering, or Utility domain preferred
- Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
- Experience preparing technical proposals and bid responses
