Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager to lead training initiatives for our General Insurance distribution channels. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering comprehensive training programs primarily for Tied Agents, as well as other distribution partners. The goal is to enhance their product knowledge, sales skills, and system proficiency, ultimately supporting our business growth.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive training programs tailored to the needs of different intermediaries, including those in Macau, focusing on the latest General Insurance latest products, systems, and sales techniques.
  • Support onboarding for new intermediaries and promote continuous learning to enhance their product knowledge and sales capabilities through regular training sessions, workshops, and refresher courses.
  • Collaborate closely with product, sales, and system teams to ensure training content is accurate, relevant, and engaging.
  • Assess training needs through feedback, performance metrics, and market trends, updating materials accordingly.
  • Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness, preparing reports for management review.
  • Recommend and implement improvements to training materials. Leverage AI and other relevant tools to keep training materials current, modern, and easily accessible—adapting content into engaging formats that align with current reading habits and lifestyles.
  • Stay informed about industry developments, new products, and regulatory changes, integrating these updates into training content.
  • Incorporate current news, industry insights, and real-life stories to create engaging training pitches and enhance producer engagement.
  • Build and maintain an up-to-date training library, including reference materials for ongoing use and future reference.


Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Insurance, or related field; professional certifications in insurance are a plus.
  • Proven experience in training and development within the insurance or financial services industry.
  • Strong understanding of General Insurance products, systems, and sales processes.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to engage and motivate adult learners.
  • Proficiency in using MS Office Suite and other multimedia tools.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills with the ability to manage multiple training programs simultaneously.


Preferred Attributes:

  • Prior experience working with Tied Agents and distribution partners.
  • Innovative mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams and functions.
