Responsibilities
Maintenance Work
Diagnose and correct equipment failure in breakdown maintenance.
Resolve machine breakdowns.
Preventive Maintenance
Execute PM tasks during change over.
Identify abnormalities during PM and provide solutions.
OEE Improvement
Execute equipment improvement and modification.
Suggest improvement and preventive action on work methods, equipment and procedures.
Energy efficiency Improvement
Monitor the critical energy parameter with Engineer and assist them with recommended solution.
Ensure CCP equipment maintenance/calibration/validation are conducted according to the specification and timelines.
Conduct internal GMP / Quality/ Foreign Material Audit and follow up with the rectification.
Project & Improvement Work
Issuance of Work permits to subcontractors and ensure compliance with Safety/GMP practices.
Ensure proper isolation of potential hazard sources (LOTOTO) before releasing equipment for installation work.
Safety / Quality
Support Emergency response team and assist in conducting fire drills and assessment.
Assist QA in conducting quality and sample checks on utilities, complaint root cause findings. etc.
Preferred competencies and qualifications
NTC / ITE / Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Mechatronics Engineering.
Minimum 3 years of experience with similar function supporting front line maintenance operations of plant facilities / utilities (e.g. Chillers, Boilers, Air compressors, etc.) and production machinery in a manufacturing plant environment; preferable with food manufacturing experience.
Able to analyze, solve problems.
Experience in problem solving tools (e.g. 4M, RCA analysis) would be an advantage.
Fundamental knowledge in mechanical fittings / pumps / gears / pneumatic, hydraulic system and basic control systems
Basic electrical & control systems knowledge
Strong exposure to Utilities (boilers, chillers, air compressors), Manufacturing equipment
LEW/PLC/Welding/Project management experience is a plus
