Job Overview
We are seeking a Business Analyst with strong experience in data migration and operational systems within the Food & Beverage environment. This role will support system implementation and transformation initiatives across outlets, central kitchens, procurement, inventory, POS, and corporate business functions.
The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical capabilities with hands-on experience supporting data migration activities, business process analysis, and operational system enhancements within hospitality, retail, or F&B environments.
Key Responsibilities
Business Analysis & Stakeholder Engagement
- Engage business users, F&B operations teams, finance stakeholders, and vendors to gather and analyze business and data requirements
- Understand end-to-end F&B operational workflows including POS operations, inventory, procurement, sales reporting, and outlet processes
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications, data mapping documents, and migration requirements
- Coordinate closely with technical teams, project managers, and vendors to support delivery objectives
Data Migration & System Transformation
- Support data migration activities from legacy systems into new platforms
- Define and validate data mapping between source and target systems
- Identify data quality issues, inconsistencies, duplicates, and gaps, and support cleansing activities
- Collaborate with technical teams on data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes
- Ensure data integrity, reconciliation accuracy, and operational readiness during migration cycles
- Support system implementation, enhancement, and transformation initiatives within F&B operations
Testing, Validation & Support
- Prepare test scenarios and support SIT, UAT, and data validation activities
- Perform reconciliation checks to ensure completeness and accuracy of migrated data
- Coordinate issue tracking, troubleshooting, and defect resolution with vendors and technical teams
- Support deployment readiness, cutover activities, and post go-live stabilization
Documentation & Process Improvement
- Prepare and maintain documentation including data mapping sheets, process flows, functional specifications, and operational procedures
- Identify opportunities to improve operational workflows and system efficiency
- Support standardization and best practices across F&B operations and support functions
Requirements
Experience & Skills
- Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Business Information Systems, or related discipline
- 3–6 years of experience as a Business Analyst with exposure to data migration or system transformation projects
- Prior exposure to Food & Beverage, hospitality, retail, or multi-outlet operational environments preferred
- Strong understanding of data mapping, data validation, reconciliation, and data quality concepts
- Experience supporting POS systems, inventory management, procurement systems, or back-office applications is advantageous
- Familiarity with SQL, Excel, or data analysis tools for validation and reporting purposes
- Experience supporting SIT, UAT, and deployment activities
