Requirements
- Certificate / Diploma in Culinary Art or Food & Beverage
- SPM with relevant experience may apply
- Working experience in beverage / restaurant service is required
- Working experience in Japanese restaurant preferred
- Able to work on shift hours, weekend and public holidays
Responsibilities
- Preparing meal ingredients for the Chef, which includes washing, peeling, cutting and slicing ingredients
- Properly washing and drying all dished, utensils, cooking equipment and cutting boards and nearly putting away all these in their respective places
- Packing take-out orders as needed
- Operate kitchen equipment such as oven and grill for cooking purposes
- Removing garbage, replacing garbage bags and washing garbage bin
- Mopping and sweeping the kitchen area as required
- Keeping all working areas clean and tidy and ensure no cross contamination
- Storing ingredients and food items according to food safety standards
