About the client

Our client is a leading financial technology organization specializing in SME financing. They operate in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, dedicated to supporting small and medium-sized enterprises. They are seeking a driven and detail-oriented professional to join their team in Kuala Lumpur.

The Role

They are looking for a Junior Associate or Senior Associate Project Manager to support their IT project execution. You will be instrumental in ensuring that their IT initiatives are delivered efficiently and adhere to internal standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and managing IT projects from initiation to closure.
• Support the development and maintenance of project timelines, schedules, and work plans.
• Track project progress and perform regular project follow-ups with internal teams and stakeholders.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, meeting minutes, and status reports.
• Assist in project data analysis, covering timelines, milestones, risks, and performance metrics.
• Prepare dashboards, reports, and presentations for project reviews.
• Identify potential project risks and issues and escalate them appropriately to the Project Manager.
• Support coordination between technical teams, vendors, and business stakeholders.
• Ensure all projects adhere to internal processes and documentation standards.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of experience successfully handling IT projects is essential.
• Experience in core project management activities, including requirement gathering, User Acceptance Testing (UATs), pre go-live preparation, and managing a project status list.
• Must have experience managing IT projects; no development or coding knowledge is required
