Overall Purpose:
Responsible for the application of E&C Quality assurance and control procedures at sites during construction and commissioning phases through site audits. He/She is also in charge of supporting contracts administration and quantities estimations databases regarding construction sites subcontracting. Managing the flow of materials at a project site, ensuring the correct materials are available when needed, comply with quality standards and specifications, and are stored safely and efficiently.
Main Responsibilities:
- Organize and lead site quality audits during construction and commissioning phases. Ensure the good compliance of sites with codes and company standards. Support sites for preparation to internal or external audits (company, ISO etc…)
- Coordinate technical support to sites related to NDE and welding topics with the technical expertise support of the welding and NDE engineer.
- Coordinate technical support to sites related to site activity standards, GD-SR and Quantity requirements.
- Support Site Activity Contract Administration & Quantity Surveying functions.
- Support Capitalization and lessons learnt on construction & commissioning quantities.
- Support site teams and link with RMQS Dept for the investigation and closure tracking of the Non conformities (NCR).
- Collaborating with project and engineering teams to forecast material demand, plan for procurement, and ensure timely delivery to the site to maintain the project schedule.
- Documentation and Reporting.
- Coordinating with suppliers, logistics teams, and other departments (such as QA/QC, construction, and procurement) to resolve material-related issues, track shipments, and manage material handling operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor degree in engineering (mechanical / process) or above;
- At least 5 years related experience at sites, preferably construction;
- Strong knowledge on quality assurance, procedures, welding and codes;
- Good analysis skills and coordination with other groups
