Job Description

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first-level technical support, including installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of hardware, software, networks, and systems.

  • Manage user accounts, access rights, and password-related requests.

  • Perform system updates, backups, and antivirus administration.

  • Maintain IT asset inventory, technical documentation, and incident logs.

  • Ensure compliance with IT policies, procedures, and security best practices.

  • Support business-related technology projects, including advertising systems, card payment terminals, DuitNow, e-wallet integrations, and other digital initiatives.

  • Assist in monitoring and maintaining IT infrastructure to ensure smooth daily operations.

  • Stay updated with emerging technologies and continuously enhance technical knowledge.

  • Provide support for the daily operations of the IT Department.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • 1–3 years of experience in IT support, helpdesk, or a similar role.

  • Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office applications, and email platforms.

  • Basic understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.

  • Familiarity with hardware troubleshooting and peripheral device support.

  • Good analytical, problem-solving, communication, and multitasking skills.

  • Ability to work independently and provide effective user support.

  • Possess own transportation and a valid driving licence for on-site support when required.

Added Advantages

  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Alibaba Cloud.

  • Knowledge of mobile device support and management.

  • Basic cybersecurity awareness and best practices.

  • Experience supporting Google Workspace and/or Microsoft 365 environments.

 Working Conditions

  • Required to provide occasional after-hours, weekend, or emergency support when necessary.
