RPG Commerce Hiring! Full Time Retail Operations Executive in Selangor - Ricebowl

About the Role

Reporting directly to the Operations & QC Manager, the Retail Ops Executive’s responsibility is to ensure that stores have sufficient quantities and the correct type of stock to be sold in each store. Therefore there is a need to be sensitive to the various promotions happening and fast reaction so that stores have enough stocks to sell.

Responsibilities

1. Manage retail inventory

Ordering the correct quantity and the correct SKUs to stores across Malaysia.

Ensuring all orders are placed on-time and placed correctly.

Reacting quickly to request of stores when there’s an urgent need of stocks.

Arranging of stocks from store to store as in transferring to the best performing stores.

Manage and interpret data from monthly stock takes.

Ensure that stores complete Goods Receive in system and attend to any discrepancies from warehouse.

2. Support daily retail operations

Keeping a healthy inventory of day-to-day consumables and devices needed by stores.

Ensure store room and cabinets storage are optimized.

3. Support periodic retail operations

Ready all hardware & consumables for pop-ups and roadshows.

Ensure that stocks are placed in time for pop-ups and roadshows.

Ensure all stocks, hardware and extra consumables are returned after the pop-up / roadshow has ended.

What you need to have

1-2 years of experience with a proven track record in Retail Operations within the consumer goods, lifestyle, or retail sectors.

Good analytical skills of reading and interpreting data and suggesting next steps to be taken.

Sensitive to inventory trends and responsive towards the inventory request.

Basic to intermediate excel / google sheets skills (eg: pivot, vlookup etc.).

Ability to align with multiple parties to ensure clarity of data, reports, & instructions.
