Responsibilities
1) IT Support & Troubleshooting
• Provide technical support to staff, including troubleshooting and resolving issues with point-of-sale (POS) systems, inventory management, and other restaurant/food service technologies.
• Troubleshoot and resolve IT system errors, connectivity problems, and user access issues.
• Assist employees with software installations, updates, and configurations.
2) System & Network Administration
• Maintain and manage servers, network infrastructure, and IT security.
• Monitor system performance, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal functionality.
• Implement data backup and disaster recovery plans to protect critical business data.
3) Cybersecurity & Compliance
• Ensure IT security policies are followed to protect company data.
• Manage firewall, antivirus, and security protocols to prevent cyber threats.
• Conduct regular system audits to ensure compliance with IT policies and best practices.
4) IT Project & Vendor Management
• Assist in IT-related projects, system upgrades, and new technology implementations.
• Coordinate with third-party vendors and service providers for hardware, software, and IT support services.
• Evaluate and recommend IT solutions to improve business efficiency.
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the superior.
Job RequirementsMinimum Diploma / Degree in related field
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Responsible, disciplined, and willing to learn
Able to work in a fast-paced environment
Good problem-solving and time management skills
Required language(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin (optional)
Able to start work immediately or within short notice is an advantage
