Our Façade Access division provides bespoke, cutting-edge personnel lifting and material handling solutions for building projects worldwide. FA solutions, both temporary and permanent, are designed for durability and performance in complex settings. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Electrical Engineer to help grow our global façade access portfolio. Reporting to the APAC Engineering Manager, this role supports the Malaysian team, regional APAC Sales Offices, and liaise with factory technical expertise to meet client and project requirements.

Key Tasks + Responsibilities:

·       Electrical engineering support for APAC FA projects

·       Site support for installations either via on-site or remotely, and liaise with Factory Engineering

·       Develop electrical design for production in compliance with current standards and safety specifications, in coordination with other departments

·       Selection of suitable electrical and electronic components in cooperation with Procurement & Suppliers

·       Prepare circuit diagrams, PLC diagrams, parts list and pre-orders

·       Perform commissioning and acceptance procedure of systems

·       On-site inspections and prepare technical reports

·       Review project technical specifications

·       Supports the APAC regional Sales Offices during tender bid with preparing technical documentations & presentations.

·       Continuous optimisation of systems in terms of cost and function in cooperation with other departments and management

·       Continuous optimisation of internal and external process in cooperation with other departments

·       Product development & adaptation for local market

·       Other engineering duties and responsibilities supporting the wider APAC region as requested from time to time.

Required qualifications + competencies:

·       Bachelor of Electrical Engineering

·       Minimum 5 years of electrical design engineering experience with lifting/material handling equipment in workplace settings

·       Highly proficient in AutoCAD Electrical, ECAD planning software, and MS Office applications

·       Able to prepare and review electrical schematics and wiring diagrams

·       Knowledge of PLC Programming

·       Proficiency in Siemens TIA-Portal will be highly desirable

·       Basic proficiency in Solidworks/Inventor is an added advantage

·       Experience in ERP systems

·       Experience testing and troubleshooting electrical system on site

·       Experience operating within a safety and quality culture

·       Strong leadership and influencing skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders

·       Excellent time management and prioritization skills

·       Strong verbal and written communication skills

·       Proficient in English

·       Proficiency in Mandarin and/or Cantonese is an added advantage

·       Ability to thrive in a dynamic, change-driven environment

·       Team player with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset

·       Willingness to travel regionally for extended periods, and globally from time to time
