Responsibilities
A) JOB DECRIPTIONS
1. Application & System Support
Provide Level 1 support for MES and related manufacturing applications.
Monitor system performance and ensure applications are operating efficiently.
Troubleshoot and resolve system incidents, user issues, and operational disruptions.
Escalate complex technical issues to Level 2 or development teams when necessary.
Maintain system availability and support production operations.
Respond to user requests, system alerts, and service tickets within agreed response timelines.
Perform root cause analysis for recurring issues and recommend improvements.
Provide guidance and assistance to users regarding system usage and operational processes.
Document incidents, resolutions, and system changes.
Perform routine system checks, monitoring, and preventive maintenance activities.
Support system updates, patches, and configuration changes when required.
Ensure system data integrity and proper system functionality.
Work closely with engineering, IT, production, and automation teams to support operational requirements.
Assist in system enhancements, testing activities, and deployment of new features.
Support system integration or transfer projects related to MES and manufacturing systems.
Maintain system documentation including procedures, troubleshooting guides, and operational instructions.
Ensure system operations comply with company policies, operational standards, and quality requirements.
B) JOB REQUIREMENTS
Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or related field.
L1 Application Support Engineer: 1–3 years of relevant experience in application or system support.
L2 Application Engineer: 3–5 years of experience in MES, manufacturing systems, or production IT environment.
Willing to work in a manufacturing environment.
May be required to support shift operations or standby support when necessary.
Able to support project implementation and system transfer activities.
Basic knowledge of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) or manufacturing IT systems.
Understanding of SQL databases, system troubleshooting, and application support processes.
Familiarity with manufacturing or semiconductor production environments is an advantage.
Experience with system monitoring tools, ticketing systems, or incident management processes is preferred.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and stakeholder coordination abilities.
Able to work independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional environment.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and respond to operational issues promptly.
