Solar Technician – Service Recovery & O&M

We are looking for a hands-on Solar Technician to manage service recovery, troubleshooting, inverter rectifications, and operations maintenance for our solar PV sites.

The candidate must be able to attend to customer sites, diagnose solar system faults, rectify inverter and monitoring issues, conduct preventive maintenance, manage clients professionally, and push cases through to proper closure.

This role requires someone with strong critical thinking, good technical troubleshooting ability, and the confidence to handle customers on-site.

Responsibilities:
  • Attend service recovery and fault rectification cases.
  • Troubleshoot inverter faults, monitoring issues, DC/AC faults, tripping issues, and low-generation concerns.
  • Carry out preventive maintenance for solar PV systems.
  • Conduct site inspections, testing, and basic electrical checks.
  • Communicate clearly with customers and manage their expectations.
  • Prepare service reports with photos, readings, findings, and recommendations.
  • Coordinate with internal operations team, LEWs, suppliers, and engineers.
  • Ensure all rectification works are followed through until completion.
Requirements:
  • Experience in solar PV, electrical, or M&E works preferred.
  • Able to troubleshoot inverter and solar system issues.
  • Able to use basic electrical testing tools.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Good communication skills with customers.
  • Responsible, disciplined, and able to work independently.
  • Class 3 driving licence preferred.
  • Willing to travel to different project sites in Singapore.
