Customer Support Consultant

Location: The Ascent, Paradigm Mall, Petaling Jaya

Employment Type: Full-Time | Permanent

Key Responsibilities

  1. Customer Application & Case Management
  2. Quotation Handling
  3. Document Collection & First-Level Screening (Maker Function)
  4. SPGA Submission – Maker Role
  5. Checker Verification & Approval
  6. SPGA Status Monitoring
  7. Issuance Eligibility & Control
  8. Policy/Cover Note Issuance
  9. Road Tax Processing
  10. Reporting & Handover


Key Control Points

  1. Strictly adhere to all approved SOPs and do not bypass any document or issuance checks.
  2. Escalate any mismatch, exception, or system issue to the PIC before proceeding.
  3. Ensure case status and supporting records are consistently updated to facilitate smooth handovers.
  4. Issuance must not proceed until SPGA status and payment conditions meet the required controls.
  5. Maintain data accuracy, confidentiality, and regulatory compliance at all times.


Requirements

  • Minimum SPM / STPM / Diploma
  • Fresh graduate or at least 1 years experience in customer service (insurance preferred)
  • Experience in motor insurance/takaful (car & motorcycle)
  • Knowledge of ANGKASA salary deduction process is an advantage
  • Good command of English & Bahasa Malaysia
