Job Description

Responsibilities:

· Responsible for managing all student database processes in accordance with current registration standards and guidelines, and established processes.

· Liaise with relevant authorities on applications for approvals.

· International student visa applications – keep abreast of MOE and Immigration guidelines and policies, and provide administrative support.

· Organize/conduct entrance assessments for prospective applicants.

· Other administrative duties related to the Registry Department.

· Responsible for the management of the examinations service, ensuring that there is a systematic approach to the administration of examinations and that the service meets quality standards.

· Ensure all external examination papers and materials are received safely by the Exam Unit, and being responsible for their strict security and ensuring completed papers are dispatched promptly and appropriately.

· Responsible for smooth arrangement and security for the conduct of all internal and external examinations.

· Ensure appropriate invigilation and and examination timetables are in accordance to the requirement of external examination bodies.

· Ensure that pupils are given all the necessary relevant information in a timely manner about examination entries, the dates and times of the examinations, conduct during examinations and the collection of results and certificates.

· Keep up to date with the necessary policies, procedures, rules and regulations laid down by the different examination bodies.

· Organize appropriate arrangements for the support of candidates with special examination requirements (e.g. dyslexia, disabled, etc.) in accordance to the rules and regulations as set by the external examination bodies.

Requirements:

- A minimum of 2 years’ working experience in:

· Database management, especially in handling complex data systems; and

· Processing documentation for MOE and Immigration (e.g. Student Visa, etc), SIS, SMIPS

- Proficient in Microsoft Office.

- Strong command of spoken and written English.

Preferred:

- Fluent in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin (spoken).
