Job Description

China Construction Decoration Group (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. is seeking a committed and experienced Project Manager to oversee construction and interior fit-out projects in Singapore. The candidate will be responsible for project planning, coordination, execution, and ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee construction and interior fit-out projects from initiation to completion.
  • Plan project schedules, manpower allocation, procurement activities, and resource management.
  • Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal project teams.
  • Monitor project progress, site activities, quality control, and compliance with safety regulations.
  • Ensure works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
  • Manage project budgeting, cost control, variation orders, and contract administration.
  • Conduct project meetings and provide regular progress reports to management and clients.
  • Resolve technical, operational, and coordination issues during project execution.
  • Ensure compliance with Singapore authority requirements, BCA regulations, and workplace safety standards.
  • Supervise site teams and ensure timely completion of project milestones.
  • Review project documentation, shop drawings, method statements, and material submissions.
  • Coordinate project handover, defect rectification, and close-out procedures.
  • Maintain good client relationships and ensure customer satisfaction throughout project delivery.

Job Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Construction Management, Building, Engineering, Interior Design, Architecture, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 5–8 years of relevant project management experience in construction or interior fit-out industry.
  • Experience managing commercial, residential, hospitality, retail, or office projects in Singapore.
  • Strong knowledge of project planning, construction methods, budgeting, and site coordination.
  • Familiar with Singapore building regulations, BCA requirements, and workplace safety practices.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work within tight timelines.
  • Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, AutoCAD, and related project management software.
  • Experience in contract administration, procurement, and subcontractor management preferred.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently.
