Role Overview
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Live Streaming Operations specialist to support the daily execution and optimization of live commerce activities across major e-commerce platforms.
In this role, you will work closely with live hosts, marketing, warehouse, finance, and product teams to ensure every live session runs smoothly from preparation to post-live reporting. This position plays an important role in driving sales growth and improving overall live commerce performance in the Malaysian market.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate end-to-end live streaming operations across multiple e-commerce platforms
- Handle live scheduling, campaign slot booking, and platform coordination
- Prepare and verify product listings, pricing, vouchers, flash sales setups, banners, and live assets before each session
- Coordinate stock readiness and pricing alignment with warehouse, product, and finance teams
- Support live hosts with scripts, product information, talking points, and backend assistance during live sessions
- Monitor live performance metrics such as sales performance, click-through rate, conversion rate, viewer retention, and audience engagement
- Troubleshoot operational or technical issues during live sessions in real time
- Prepare post-live performance reports and provide recommendations for future improvements
- Coordinate campaign participation, marketing placements, and promotional execution with relevant stakeholders
- Support major campaign executions including peak sales events and promotional periods
- Work closely with customer service, fulfillment, and finance teams to resolve post-sale issues
- Continuously improve SOPs and operational workflows for better live session efficiency
Requirements
- Minimum Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, E-commerce, or related fields
- At least 1–2 years of experience in live streaming operations, e-commerce operations, or related functions
- Familiar with live commerce ecosystems and e-commerce operational processes
- Strong understanding of live streaming backend systems and performance metrics
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel for reporting, stock monitoring, and sales tracking
- Experience using OMS or ERP systems is an advantage
- Strong coordination and communication skills across multiple teams
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work in fast-paced environments
- Comfortable working during evenings, weekends, or shifting schedules when required
- Able to communicate in both Bahasa Malaysia and English
- Mandarin proficiency is a strong advantage
