Job Description

China Construction Decoration Group (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. is looking for a creative and experienced Interior Design Manager to lead and manage interior design projects from concept development to project completion. The candidate will oversee design coordination, client communication, and ensure all designs meet project objectives, technical requirements, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage interior design projects for commercial, residential, hospitality, retail, and office developments.
• Develop design concepts, space planning, mood boards, material selections, and presentation materials.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, architects, project teams, and subcontractors throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare and review design drawings, construction details, specifications, and material submissions.
• Ensure designs comply with project requirements, local regulations, and technical standards.
• Manage design schedules, deliverables, and project timelines to ensure timely completion.
• Conduct site visits and coordinate with project/site teams to ensure design intent is properly executed.
• Review and approve shop drawings, mock-ups, and material samples.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior designers and design team members.
• Attend client meetings, design presentations, and coordination meetings.
• Work closely with project management and procurement teams on budget and material coordination.
• Ensure high-quality design standards and client satisfaction throughout project execution.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related discipline.
• Minimum 5–8 years of relevant experience in interior design, with managerial or team leadership experience preferred.
• Strong portfolio in commercial, residential, hospitality, retail, or office interior projects.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D rendering software, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office.
• Strong understanding of space planning, construction detailing, materials, and interior fit-out processes.
• Familiar with Singapore regulations, authority requirements, and industry standards.
• Excellent design, presentation, communication, and coordination skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work within tight timelines.
• Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
• Detail-oriented, creative, and able to work independently.
