Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Special Needs Teacher to join our Early Intervention team. The teacher will work closely with young children with developmental delays and learning differences, providing individualized support and structured intervention to enhance their cognitive, communication, social, emotional, and adaptive skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) based on each child’s developmental needs
- Conduct structured early intervention sessions (1-to-1 and small group settings)
- Support children with speech delays, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), ADHD, global developmental delay, and other learning challenges
- Monitor, assess, and document students’ progress regularly
- Prepare teaching materials and adapt curriculum to suit different learning abilities
- Work collaboratively with therapists, shadow aides, and parents
- Provide guidance and strategies to parents for home support
- Maintain a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment
- Participate in case discussions, meetings, and professional development
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Special Education, Early Childhood Education, Psychology, or related field
- Experience in early intervention or working with children with special needs is preferred
- Knowledge of behavior management strategies and developmental milestones
- Patient, compassionate, and able to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and documentation skills
Added Advantage
- Ability to speak Mandarin is an added advantage to assist students who face language barriers and to communicate effectively with Mandarin-speaking families.

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
