Job Description We are looking for a passionate and skilled Barber / Senior Barber to join our growing team in Orchard. The ideal candidate should have strong barbering techniques, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to deliver consistent, high-quality grooming services. You will be responsible for providing professional barbering services while maintaining cleanliness, professionalism, and a welcoming salon experience for clients. Key Responsibilities Perform men’s haircuts, fades, taper cuts, beard trims, beard shaping, and grooming services Provide professional consultation based on client’s hair type, face shape, and styling preferences Recommend suitable hairstyles, grooming products, and maintenance advice Perform hot towel shaves and scalp care services when required Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of workstation and tools according to salon standards Build strong relationships with returning and new clients Support salon operations and maintain professional customer service standards Stay updated with current haircut trends and barbering techniques Work closely with team members to ensure smooth daily salon operations Requirements Minimum 1–2 years of barbering experience preferred Skilled in fades, taper cuts, scissor cuts, and beard grooming Good communication and customer service skills Positive attitude with willingness to learn and improve Able to work independently and as part of a team Responsible, punctual, and well-groomed Experience in salon or barbershop environment is an advantage Basic English communication preferred Preferred Skills Skin fade and modern barbering techniques Beard sculpting and styling Men’s hair colouring or perm experience Customer consultation and retail recommendation skills Social media or portfolio showcasing previous work is a bonus Working Location Orchard, Singapore Near Orchard MRT / ION Orchard Working Hours 5 to 6 days work week Retail working hours including weekends and public holidays Salary Basic salary + commission + incentives Salary commensurate with experience Employee Benefits Attractive commission structure Staff grooming benefits Career progression opportunities Training and skill development Friendly and supportive working environment Application Interested applicants may apply with resume and portfolio/photos of haircut works if available.
